After graduation I spent 3 years in the Air Force, most of my time at
Sheppard AFB Hospital in Wichita Falls, TX, working as an Hospital Admin
Specialist. Following my discharge I lived in Wichita Falls and worked at
the hospital there and then in Vernon, TX. I returned to school at Texas
Tech and eventually earned a Master’s Degree in Public Healthcare
Administration. I married a girl from Tennessee and lived in Lubbock for a
number of years, working in Hospital Administration, before accepting a
job with Phillips and moving to Houston. I retired from Phillips in 2005
and moved to Tennessee to live on a farm. I have three children, Angie,
Kim and Chris. Kim and our grandchildren live in Lubbock, Angie in
Abilene, and Chris in Singapore. Since retiring I have enjoyed traveling,
golfing, and piddling on the farm. My grandchildren are the pride of my
life and I enjoy most of all spending time with them. |
