I
am retired now, but stay very busy with my family, my home, my church, and
a special friend. I lost my second husband in 2004. I have 2 children, 7
grandchildren, 2 granddaughters-in-law, and 2 beautiful great
granddaughters. In November I’m expecting a third great grandchild.
When I first got married, I lived in Lakin KS for 4 years and then in
Fritch for 10 years. I have lived in Tyler TX ever since. I worked for 25
years with K-Mart as Ladies Department Manager and Human Resource Manager
and was training to be the Office Manager when the store closed.
The only classmate I have kept in touch with is Sue Ann Steagall Williams,
who lives in Grand Junction CO, where my sister lives. I usually see her
when I visit my sister. I’m sorry I won’t be able to attend the reunion,
but look forward to reading what others have written. |
